Communities I Serve Across Northeast Georgia
Nine towns, from Athens to Snellville. Old-town squares, lake-side weekends, family neighborhoods near Atlanta. Tap any city to see the local read.
Nine Northeast Georgia Communities, One Agent Who Knows Them All
I work across these nine Northeast Georgia communities and the surrounding areas, because that is the area I actually drive every week. From Bogart, I can be at a Monroe listing in 20 minutes, a McDonough showing in just over an hour, or on Lake Oconee in 45 minutes. If you are buying or selling in any of these towns, or any of the surrounding communities, you get the same hands-on read of the street, the schools, and the community.
Athens Homes for Sale
Athens is the hub of Northeast Georgia, old-town square, college-town energy, neighborhoods that range from historic Five Points bungalows to newer-build family homes east of the loop. Buyers come for the music scene, the medical jobs at UGA’s expanding biomed footprint, and the simple fact that you can walk to dinner downtown. Sellers know the buyer pool is deep year-round.

What Becky Loves About Athens
Five Points on a Saturday morning still feels like a small town to me, and that is rare for a city this size. I have sold homes on every side of Athens, and the question I get most is “which neighborhood?” The honest answer depends on whether you want walkability, schools, or a yard, and I will tell you straight.
Monroe Homes for Sale
Monroe sits halfway between Athens and Atlanta, and the historic downtown has been quietly reinventing itself for the last decade. Boutique storefronts on Broad Street, family neighborhoods on either side of 78, and a mix of antebellum architecture with newer construction further out. Buyers who want small-town Georgia with real downtown infrastructure often end up here.

What Becky Loves About Monroe
Monroe is my own backyard, twenty minutes from Bogart, and I have probably sold more homes here than anywhere else. I know which streets flood in a hard storm, which subdivisions have HOAs worth the dues, and which downtown blocks are about to look different in two years. That kind of read takes time.
McDonough Homes for Sale
McDonough is the South Metro Atlanta story written in family-scale neighborhoods. The square downtown is real, the subdivisions out toward 75 are mostly newer-build, and the buyers I work with here are usually upsizing families, first-time buyers priced out of intown, or relocations from out of state who want a yard, a garage, and a 30-minute commute. The growth here is steady and not finished.

What Becky Loves About McDonough
This is one of the most active markets I work, and I love that the buyers are usually first-timers or growing families. The conversation is rarely about prestige, it is about a real kitchen, a real backyard, and a school assignment that works for the kids. Those are my favorite deals to close.
Madison Homes for Sale
Madison is the town General Sherman did not burn, and the Antebellum architecture on the historic register tells you why people drive an hour to see it. The downtown is genuinely walkable, the schools have a steady reputation, and the homes on Old Post Road still pull weekend buyers from Atlanta looking for a slower-paced second home or a forever move.

What Becky Loves About Madison
If you have never walked the historic district on a weekday morning, you should. The houses here have been loved for two hundred years, and the buyers who land in Madison tend to be the kind who plan to do the same. I always have a few clients quietly watching this market.
Decatur Homes for Sale
Decatur is the walkable downtown just east of Atlanta, and the buyers who want it really want it. City Schools of Decatur, the Saturday farmers market on the square, restaurants you can walk to from a bungalow off Sycamore. Inventory is tight by design because most owners do not leave. The buyers who land here treat it like a long-term move from day one.

What Becky Loves About Decatur
Decatur buyers do their homework. By the time they call me, they have already walked the square, eaten at Leon’s, and decided they want in. My job is to be honest about what is realistic at their budget and patient enough to wait for the right listing. Sometimes that is six months. The right one is worth it.
Covington Homes for Sale
Covington is the Hollywood of the South, the courthouse square is the one you have probably seen in fifty different TV shows, and that personality runs through the town. Historic homes around the square, newer subdivisions out toward I-20, and the kind of porches that get used. Strong commuter pull to Atlanta without giving up small-town feel.

What Becky Loves About Covington
Buyers who want character without paying intown Atlanta prices land in Covington and almost always stay. The square is a real downtown, not a manufactured one. I have walked listings here at every price point and there is genuine range, that is rarer than it sounds.
Greensboro Homes for Sale
Greensboro sits on the north shore of Lake Oconee, and that is the headline. Reynolds, Cuscowilla, and the surrounding lake communities pull retirees, second-home buyers, and an increasing number of remote-work families who realized they could live on the water and still be at Hartsfield in 90 minutes. The town itself is small and friendly, the lake is the lifestyle.

What Becky Loves About Greensboro
Lake Oconee buyers want different things than buyers in Athens or Monroe, and I have learned to ask the right questions early. Dockable shoreline versus deep water, community amenities versus privacy, full-time versus weekend. The right home on the lake is a long search done right, not a fast one.
Loganville Homes for Sale
Loganville straddles the Walton and Gwinnett county line, which is a small detail that ends up mattering for tax bills and school zoning. Mostly newer-build suburban subdivisions with strong family demand, easy access to 78 for the Atlanta commute, and a downtown stretch that is friendlier than the Highway 78 strip suggests. Solid first-time and move-up buyer territory.

What Becky Loves About Loganville
The first question on every Loganville offer I write is “which county is this address in?” because the answer changes the property taxes by a meaningful number. That is the kind of thing a Zestimate will not catch and a 20-minute conversation with me will. Useful detail saves money here.
Snellville Homes for Sale
Snellville’s town motto is “Everybody’s Somebody in Snellville,” and after working this market for years I will tell you it actually fits. Mature subdivisions with grown trees, established schools, easy access to 78, and a buyer pool that ranges from first-time families to empty-nesters downsizing within the same ZIP. Less new construction than Loganville next door, more settled inventory.

What Becky Loves About Snellville
Snellville rewards buyers who can read mature neighborhoods. The streets that look quiet on a Tuesday afternoon are often the ones with the strongest schools and the lowest turnover, and that is exactly where I want to put a young family if the budget fits. I usually walk three streets before I show one house here.
Not Sure Which Area Fits?
Tell me what matters most. Whether it’s school districts, your commute, a big yard, or living close to downtown or the lake. I’ll filter through our local areas to find the two or three spots that actually match your day-to-day life. Let’s start with a quick, no-obligation, 15-minute phone call.
